Internship
Information on compulsory and voluntary internships, Occupational Health and Safety Training, and the documents used during internship procedures is provided on this page.
Occupational Health and Safety Training
In accordance with Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety and the relevant legislation, students whose internship insurance will be covered by the Faculty of Science must complete Occupational Health and Safety Training before beginning a compulsory or voluntary summer internship. This requirement also applies to students participating through the National Internship Program.
The process is coordinated by the Occupational Health and Safety Coordination Office of Marmara University. The training is delivered online through the Marmara University Distance Education Center (UZEM). Students must complete the training successfully for their internship procedures to continue.

Training Process
The training is assigned and completed according to the following process.

Official correspondence
The Faculty of Science carries out the necessary correspondence with the relevant university units.

Training assignment
Occupational Health and Safety Training is assigned to all third-year students.

Online completion through UZEM
Students complete the assigned training through UZEM from the beginning of April through the end of May.

Successful result
A successful training result is required for the internship process to continue.
