Education and Research in the Fundamental Sciences

Marmara University Faculty of Science conducts educational and scientific research activities through the Departments of Biology, Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The faculty aims to combine a strong theoretical foundation with research, practical experience and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Language structure of the undergraduate programmes

Turkish

The language of instruction in the Biology, Statistics and Mathematics undergraduate programmes is Turkish.

30% English

The Chemistry and Physics undergraduate programmes provide 30% English-medium instruction and include a compulsory foreign-language preparatory programme.
